Alphabet City 7-12 Boxset

It's the second half of the Alphabet City series and these books are intense in social issues facing the inner cities of America today. Part 7 focuses on Tiffany's story and starting a healthy juicing business in the inner city. With all of the bad food that's around, it's hard to compete with cheap rather than healthy options for her community. Part 8 Is Kevon's story as a drug dealer and how he is focused on making money but there's a price he pays for what he does, destroying his community one person at a time. Part 9 is the matriarch of Alphabet City, Ms. Evelyn Bates, she chronicles the start of Alphabet City, what it once was and what it's become now. Part 10 is the pillar and well-known teacher Wayne who is fighting to keep kids in line and steering them in the right direction even when the outside world tells kids not to. Part 11 is Detective Xavier Rose, a long time policeman and grew up in Alphabet City. While he wants to make his community better, no one trusts him and the stigma of inner cities of America is, don't trust the cops. Part 12 is the town hall meeting that has been much needed for all community members to share their grievances and fight to make this neighborhood a better and safer place to live in for now and in the future.
